From Moon to WaffleLand and Adding Wellness

The state of Georgia has a great chain of restaurants called Waffle House.

Serving Up Breakfast at Night... Yummy!

In the USA, the state of Georgia is home to a chain of restaurants that is open 24 hours and every day of the year. The restaurant is Waffle House. This place is also part of my Georgia taste-bud history!

Because I am an “Allatarian” and enjoy tasting a variety of foods and beverages in moderation, I discovered the “chicken and eggs” that Waffle House Serves. They serve this with corn grits or hash browns. I like both.

Remember that Healthy Equations is about adding or subtracting habits, multiplying the good things in life and dividing the overflow. As you travel, think about the habits that are increasing your personal wellness. Do you make time to go for walks or to visit the gym in the hotel that you select?

Think about subtracting excess. Don’t just eat to be full and satisfy your taste buds only. Eat with the mindset of nourishing your body. Moderation is such an important component for living and enjoying all aspects of life.

My Moon Landing was Delicious!

It is so fun to discover excellent restaurants as I travel around the USA. I like to taste all types of foods. I learned from one of my favorite books that it is best to stop eating when you have enjoyed your food, chewed it carefully and feel 80 % full. This way your stomach is not overfilled and having to work so hard.

This restaurant is called Full Moon Barbeque and it is located in Birmingham, Alabama. A quick tip on eating heavier and higher fat food: I learned to take my raw apple cider vinegar before I plan to eat a meal such as pork that is BBQ’d. I do about eight ounces of water and about 1 to 2 tablespoons of ACV about 30 minutes before I eat.

This makes my digestion easier and then my moon landing tastes heavenly!
