I love olive oil! Eating it, rubbing it on my skin, applying it with a massage to my scalp. It is such a life-giving oil. Not only is it exquisite for your overall health, but I came across a great story in one of my favorite books. It is about a man who lived healthy to 120 years. Goddard Ezekiel Dodge Diamond rubbed about one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil on his joints for over 40 years at least once per day, sometimes twice. He did this because when he was about 60 years of age he discovered he was becoming stiff and had achy joints. Since Mr. Diamond knew of the benefits of olive oil, he thought he would experiment with applying it to his stiff and aging body. Well, when he was 100, he was still able to perform gymnastics and at 108 years, he was riding a bike and taking very long walks.
